Power of Lottery

Power of Lottery Closed Session – Postponed to 2026
Special Announcement: Event Postponement and Market Status Update
We hereby inform you that the dedicated closed session, „Power of Lottery,” originally scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2025, has been postponed to 2026.

Explanation and Context:
Despite the significant potential of the Polish charity lottery market, we regret to announce that we were unable to gather the planned group of participants – encompassing Polish NGOs and lottery solution suppliers. The Polish charity lottery market is still developing and operates on a limited scale. Consequently, the topic of charity lotteries still requires intensive promotion to achieve the desired level of professionalization and safety. We remain hopeful that the coming months of intense work will result in increased interest.

Achieved Progress (Successes):
While the market matures, our ongoing efforts have yielded key results:
1. Pilot Lottery Implementation: Launching a pilot implementation of a lottery to test operational solutions and business models.
2. Payment Gateway Agreements: Successfully signing contracts with Payment Service Provider (PSP) suppliers. This is a crucial step, especially given the historical challenge that main Polish companies are reluctant to service lotteries.
3. Key Collaboration with Public Benefit Organizations (NGO/OPP): Securing key cooperation with further NGOs/OPPs, strengthening our capacity to assist them in running professional and safe lotteries.
4. Success in Dialogue with the Ministry of Finance: We maintain ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Finance in Poland, which controls lotteries. Sustained dialogue is key as we work to shape a legal order favorable to the organization of charity lotteries.

Favorable Circumstance (Market Potential Reinforcement):
We view the publication of the report „Supporting Civil Society Under Pressure” by ACLEU experts as a favorable circumstance reinforcing the market’s potential. The ACLEU report indicates a substantial existing market and can be used to assess if Poland is a prospective market for suppliers, with estimates suggesting the annual prize pool value is approximately €378 million.
